TRAILER: Verbinski's 'Rango' teaser is just that

"Pirates of the Caribbean" director Gore Verbinski reteams with Johnny Depp on the animated "Rango," although you would never know from Paramount's desolate teaser.

The CG pic, which is expected to hit theaters in early 2011, tells the story of a pet chameleon (Depp) who goes on an adventure to discover its true self.

Variety first reported the Industrial Light and Magic project back in 2008.
