Dave Eggers named Telluride poster artist
Author Dave Eggers has been tapped as the 39th Telluride Film Festival poster artist, it was announced Monday.
Eggers, who penned acclaimed novel “The Heartbreaking Work of a Staggering Genius,” has recently co-written two screenplays, including Spike Jonze’s adaptation of “Where the Wild Things Are.”
Eggers will attend the fest over Labor Day weekend to present his poster design and hold a poster signing for festival guests. A special reception will also be held to honor Eggers, sponsored by the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television.
