Bay_boffo

Director Michael Bay has confirmed the Victoria's Secret message suggesting model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will replace thesp Megan Fox in the next "Transformers."

Baygirl_boffo Bay made the announcement Wednesday on his official website.

The third installment in the "Transformers" franchise has already begun shooting at the Spruce Goose Howard Hughes hangar in Playa Vista, and according to Bay's producing partner, Ian Bryce, will film "as much...in L.A. as possible."

Bay, coincidentally, has prior history with the ladies of Victoria's Secret. He once-directed a commercial for VS called "A Thousand Fantasies." (There were no explosions in the ad, unfortunately. Just helicopters 'n babes.) Watch here.

"Transformers:" Victoria's Secret model in?

Rosie_wingsagainboffo If your boss catches you watching a sexy Victoria's Secret montage at the office today, you can turn to him or her and say, "Hey, this is news."

Yes, the "Transformers" secret is out and what better way to deliver Michael Bay casting news than a lingerie video?

Supermodel Rose Huntington-Whiteley was congratulated by Victoria's Secret on their Facebook page Sunday afternoon for nabbing the lead actress role in Paramount's upcoming "Transformers 3."

"Victoria's Secret...would like to congratulate our angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley...starring in Transformers 3," the message reads.

Megansurprise_boffo The 23 year-old British model will apparently replace recently-ousted thesp Megan Fox in the Michael Bay-helmed pic, which begins shooting early this summer.

Huntington-Whiteley, who has never appeared onscreen before, is expected to play the love interest of Shia LaBeouf in the third installment of the "Transformers" franchise.

Paramount is set to release the pic on July 1, 2011.
